It operates from the Human Sciences (HS) building of the Kulliyyah of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences (KIRKHS) under the Department of Communication.

IIUM.fm uses live stream to broadcast channel in the Internet. IIUM.fm targets IIUM‟s alumni in various countries around the world and the public at large to share the latest update of the university’s activities and programs.
